Why do you need "Womb Renovations" before you conceive?

In all the years we were trying to get pregnant and the subsequent fertility treatment, not a single doctor or nurse EVER mentioned diet or lifestyle. It was always this treatment, or that medication, or this procedure.  It was never more than stop taking the pill, start a prenatal from the grocery store and have fun.

This truly is a "wish I knew then what I know now".

It is recommended that you start your body and lifestyle renovations at a minimum of 3 months prior to actively trying to get pregnant.

  • eggs and sperm go through crucial genetic preparations in the weeks before conception, and you want these to occur under the best circumstances

  • genetic defects do not all occur randomly - its empowering to know you have some control

  • most defects, many preventable, occur between 17 & 56 days after conception - the time before many women even know they are pregnant

  • it's easier to continue healthy habits into pregnancy and beyond if they're in place before pregnancy

  • you're born with all your eggs, but they don't start completely developing until your body chooses them for ovulation

  • nutrient deficiencies get passed on - you can't give it if you don't have it yourself

  • you do have a choice - fertility and fetal development depend on both genetics and the environment - and you can control the environmental factors

  • if you’ve been on birth control pills for any length of time, your body is depleted of the following, and needs a chance to restore:

    • Beneficial Bacteria

    • Biotin

    • Calcium

    • Folate

    • Magnesium

    • Niacin

    • Potassium

    • Pyridoxine

    • Riboflavin

    • Selenium

    • Thiamine

    • Vitamin B12

    • Vitamin C

    • Zinc
